Scary statistic…

Just stopped by and wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your site! I’ll bookmark this one!

Thanks for reading, Janet. I checked out your blog, as well. Love your voice & the music titles!
Wendy — I hadn’t visited your blog-site in quite a while! Way too long because I love the way you write and the wonderful things you write about! Thank you for being such a wonderful person and friend!
Valentines Day bothers me, too!
Love you! Kathy
Okay, now THIS is frightening. I think that the media and technology have a lot to do with this, i.e., OVERLOAD!!!! Although I recall few things about my childhood, I would put money on the fact that I never “needed” a vacation, only “desired” one. Now I both need and desire a vacation, but maybe that’s because I’ve not had one for three years. But I digress. It’s a sad comment on our society when children say that they “need” a vacation. I wonder if it’s time to turn off the technology, read a book, play outside, and find some creative stimulation to feed the soul and soothe our (or their) minds.
