Drivers.

On the Atlantic City Expressway and the NJ Turnpike the other day, we saw lots of cars from other states. The Massachusetts cars really stood out as particularly rude and obnoxious drivers.

Our new name for them? Mass-holes.

I’m going to start incorporting that into my vocabulary despite the origins of the drivers.

My friend and I are trying to cut down on our swearing, agreeing to donate a dime for every expletive that crosses our lips. We were about $48 down after the first evening.

This Mass-hole thing is going to save me big money.

Mass-holes. LOVE it! I determined that Mass drivers were amongst the worse the summer I dogsat for some friends up there. But then I moved to Maryland. I’m still working on a name (I’m sure that this post is going to win me lots a points in your household.) Sorry Wendy and Andrew…

love it – i’m adding that one to my vocab!

(in college (blue ridge mountains in nc) we had a name for the old snowbirds from florida who drove at negative 5 miles per hour around the winding mountain roads: floridiots.)

Glad y’all like it! I like the Floridiots. Liz – looking forward to hearing your Maryland name. Kind of. :)

GNG – you said 480 bad words in one night? Must have been some night!

    SHUH! Nooooooooooo!

There were 2 of us playing; if we split the bill down the middle, I am accountable for only 240 bay-ad words.

I lived in Mass for 3 years and have plenty of experience with Mass-holes. However, no matter how bad they are, drivers from DC will always be worse. Hands down. I had to move from DC because I got tired of being honked at for no apparent reason all the time. For the first six months I lived there I thought I had a tail light out.

They’re worse than CA drivers too, just for the record.

I think I’ll walk. So, you took a study break to read blogs? Get back to work!
