Thin. Mints.

Isn’t it nice that these cookies come as conveniently sealed portion-sized packs? Two portions per box.

Another cookie-related observation of the day. The girl scouts in our area sold their cookies months ago. Of course, we ate all ten (really, ten!) boxes long ago. But the girls from the next county over are in full swing selling cookies now! The smartest troops are selling in front of my grocery store! Great strategy.

And lucky for me.

Thin Mints are a classic! I ordered 5 and they were gone in a flash. My daughter likes to dip them in Peanut Butter.

  2. Wendy says:

Great. Now I have to try that! I wonder how many fat calories dipping them in peanut butter adds? Arghh! But I’ll bet it’s worth it! Thanks, Jodie…

Whew, thought I was the only one that ate one of those stacks in one sitting.

I worked on their rebranding years ago. I spent hours and hours retouching cookie product shots on a 21″ Monitor….starving for a cold glass of milk…..

  5. Wendy says:

No Junebee, you are not alone. It might just be you & me though….

Steakbellie – sounds like fun? did you at least get cookies?

We went through the first box in one sitting. And forgot about the second. And just-when-I-remembered-it…and had that thin mint craving – you know that one, I went to the cabinet to find that T had demolished the rest only the day before. Great minds love thin mints at the same time! Fortunately, our “distributor” lives right next door!

  8. Wendy says:

We keep ours in the freezer! They’re yummy AND the kids can’t reach them!

  9. cruisin-mom says:

you have to eat them frozen…that’s the only way!

  10. Maven says:

I remember yummy girl scout cookies, back in the good ole days when I didn’t keep kosher. And I agree with Cruisin-Mom, you gotta stick the thin mints in the freezer.

    nah
just a wall full of revised logos, tables piled with mocked up package designs, and Gigabyte after Gigabyte of cookie photos….

The 2-portions per box comment cracked me up. Sugar-y things don’t tempt me so much…but give me a wedge of brie…isn’t a 1/2 lb. wedge also one serving?
