Ever want to just get away from it all?
I got an email from a friend who said:
“windy..icky..rainy day here. I have to go off island to send a letter overnight. [insert personal business here - the reason the letter needs to go & be sure to imagine some very harsh curse words here too] I am so sick of all of this.
I want to run away and live on an island. Whoops. I’m already on an island. Yikes. Love, me”
So where do you run to if you already live on a beautiful island?
Rain I could stand but if you had a Tsunamis or earthquake, I’d make sure I had an inflatable raft in my purse for emergencies!
Where does anyone go when they need to get away from it all? Tijuana!
That’s ok. I live in Florida and sometimes I still want to get away. Mainly to someplace cooler and drier.
My sister-in-law lives on Grand Cayman. With the exception of having lived through the wrath of Ivan and losing a home, it just might be heaven on earth. Besides the big annual vacation, when she needs a mainland get-away, she goes to Miami for a shopping spree. Would Miami be the get-away destination for me? I don’t think so, but I guess everything’s relative. And I like having a relative in Grand Cayman!
