The long ride home.

This is the view driving down the road that leads to my neighborhood. The leaves are much prettier in person, though….

I was thinking about the crisp air and how it helps clarify my thoughts. Walking outside on a beautiful Fall day, I feel so alert. So prepared.

Maybe it’s just that the cold against my face wakes me up. Or maybe it’s the array of colors that awaken my senses.

I don’t know.

But I like it.

I’m right there with you. I tire of people that can’t enjoy autumn for dreading winter. Gotta take time and smell the…leaves!

Mom and I sat outside Sunday afternoon with winter coats and cups of hot chocolate; it was perfect.

i love it, too. fall is always my favorite time of year. i took the dog for a walk yesterday and felt so much better when i came home (even with a bag of steaming dog crap in my hand)

Kristin, I laughed out loud at your steaming bag of dog crap! I take Finley and our greyhound Guinness out for several walks a day and we love the breeze and the trees. Guinness wears his coat because it’s getting chilly. YEAH FALL!

That’s one thing I miss about PA, the fall. I used to go home every year in October but I can’t anymore. Crunch some leaves for me.
