We saw a huge pendulum. And even learned how it works.
We saw the Liberty Bell and learned its entire history.
We toured Independence Hall, learned about the Continental Congress, the Declaration of Independence, and more.
But best of all, I had my first Black Velvet.
That was heavenly.
Wow, what a fun day. I’ve never heard of a black velvet…and it would never have occurred to me to mix those two particular beverages together. I guess I’ll trust you on that; you’ve steered me in the right direction before.
I knew where you were as soon as I saw that pic of the pendulum! I sure miss Philadelphia!
