Wendy, wow, what a trip down memory lane. I was 13. I loved the song Love is Blue….I will never forget buying Hey Jude on 45 that year. And, of course, who ever missed Laugh-IN….thanks…good memories.
Very cool site! Thought I’d key in the date of my 16th birthday and give it to my up-and-coming sweet sixteen year old to let her know what was going on in the world when dear old Mom was the same age. I guess she could always ask you, but you may have a different light to shed, no?!!!
Pretty mind-boggling to think that she’s now at the age when we became friends. Just think, Sarah could be her Wendy years down the road!!!
This post was completly amazing. I loved reading it. I know far too many of those songs off by heart and I was only a year old when they were hits.
