Today is Friday and that means it’s Coworking in Columbia Day. A slew of us meet at Dobbin Starbucks and cowork at the space from 9-5. A few of the regulars are social media peeps, many are geeks, and some are just plain cool folk. In any case, you’re welcome to 1) join us and 2) let your local friends know about it. I aim to get there around 1 p.m. and work til 5 or so. Love to see you there. It’s a friendly, social (media) and productive crowd. ~ JessieX

That’s great that it worked out so well for you!

Over the years I have come to dislike social situations like that a lot more than I used to. But then, when they’re over, I usually realize it wasn’t so bad. It’s more the anticipation -and fear- that get me.

Good for you. I am not the least bit surprised it went well for you. You are an amazingly likable person!

To the girl who likes her boots! Ergh. I would have gone with you. I didn’t want to go by myself all the way to DC. AND I could have introduced you to a bunch of DC tech/social media people. I went to the Jeff Pulver breakfast in Baltimore. Good fun.

The American City Girls adopted the tagging system at a party of ours; it worked fabulously.
