  1. Bibendum come from the Latin phrase nunc est bibendum, meaning “Now is the time to drink.” A good English translation might be “Drunky, the Michelin Tire Man.”

  2. I didn’t know he was called “Bibendum” until I first went to the London restaurant with the same name.

    Which leads me to think…I wonder how many Michelin stars the Bibendum restaurant has…????
